Thomas Solution for 1und1 works: you need to change RewriteBase relative to root Directory, in my case:

I also tested the link from Offe.
It works now.
The path in htaccess must be relative starting from the root.

My Hoster is: www.domaingo.de with the Power XL Package

All Tests failed with a 404 Error.

I just looked on the specification of my hoster to be shure that the rewrite engine is available, but nevertheless it doesn't work

@ pphlwmarcel: Can you check test 2a with /api/index.php? Should be the same problem, than i had with 1und1

@ XimeX: At least I have checked that there is no mistake, I just did what is said in the readme.
But in touch with my hoster we have found the Problem, why all the tests with the hoster Domaingo and Domainfactory fail.

If i add the row

to the .htaccess all Tests show OK

But at least I don't kow why it fails without it. I don't know as much about .htaccess

@offe: if I do the test 2a with the original .htaccess (without the changes my hoster told me to do) with /api/index.php it shows "OK"

@XimeX: At least I have only Tested with Domaingo. If the right RewriteBase is set all Tests for domaingo are successfull.

I can't Test it for domainfactory (but at least it's the Same Hoster, so I think that it is working there as well)

I have written an E-Mail to jojo. He is using domainfactory as he told us in his first test. Maybe he can perfom the test again.
